- Robinhood, the popular stock trading app, raised $200 million in Series G funding from D1 Capital Partners. The startup is now valued at $11.2 billion. Read more.
- PayActiv, Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based employer-sponsored earned wage access and financial wellness platform, raised $100 million in Series C funding. Eldridge led the round and was joined by investors including Generation Partners and the Ziegler Link•Age Fund II.
- BlockFi, a Jersey City-based financial services company developing products for cryptocurrencies, raised $50 million in Series C funding. Morgan Creek Digital led the round and was joined by investors including Valar Ventures, CMT Digital, Castle Island Ventures, Winklevoss Capital, SCB 10X, Avon Ventures, Purple Arch Ventures, Kenetic Capital, HashKey, and NBA player Matthew Dellavedova.
- Bridge Connector, a Nashville-based interoperability company for health care, raised $25.5 million in Series B funding. Axioma Ventures led the round and was joined by investors including Jeff Vinick.
- Lana , a Madrid-based fintech for underbanked population in Latin America, raised $12 million in Series A funding. Base10 Partners led the round and was joined by investors including Cabify and VC Cathay Innovation.

- Claimsforce, a Hamburg-based insurtech company, raised €7 million ($8.3 million) in Series A funding. Notion Capital led the round and was joined by investors including Fly Ventures, Point Nine, and La Famiglia.
- Moov Financial, a Cedar Falls, Iowa-based open source embedded banking platform, raised $5.5 million in seed funding. Bain Capital Ventures led the round and was joined by investors including Canapi Ventures, Commerce Ventures, Gradient Ventures, RRE Ventures, and Uncorrelated Ventures.

- Thirty Madison, a startup that offers online health portals for treatment of hair loss, migraines, and acid reflux, raised $47 million. Polaris Partners led the round and was joined by Johnson & Johnson, Maveron, and Northzone. Read more.
- Science 37, a Los Angeles-based clinical trials platform, raised $40 million in funding. Lux Capital, Redmile Group, and PPD, Inc. (Nasdaq: PPD) led the round, and are joined by investors including Novartis, Amgen, Sanofi Ventures, GV, Glynn Capital, LifeSci Ventures and Mubadala Ventures.
- Exo, a Redwood City, Calif.-based health information and devices company, raised $40 million in extended Series B funding. Investors included Action Potential Venture Capital and Intel Capital.
- Carrot Fertility, a five-year-old, San Francisco-based startup that provides employee fertility benefits, raised $24 million in Series B funding led by U.S. Venture Partners, with participation from F-Prime Capital. The company has now raised $40 million altogether. MedCity News has more here.
- Podimetrics, a Somerville, Mass.-based virtual care management company, raised $8.6 million in Series B-2 funding round from investors including Polaris Partners, Rock Health, Norwich Ventures, and Scientific Health Development, bringing its total Series B funding to $24.6 million.
- Brightline, a Palo Alto-based pediatric behavioral health startup, raised $20 million in Series A funding. - Castor, a Hoboken, N.J.-based provider of clinical trial technology, raised $12 million in funding. Two Sigma Ventures led the round and was joined by investors including Hambrecht Ducera Growth Ventures and INKEF Capital.
- Rimsys Inc., a Pittsburgh-based regulatory software maker designed specifically for medical technology companies, raised $1.5 million in funding.Allos Ventures led the round.

- Drizly Group, a Boston-based alcohol delivery firm, raised $50 million in Series C funding. Avenir led the round and was joined by investors including Tiger Global.

- SpyCloud, an Austin-based anti-fraud platform, raised $30 million in Series C funding. Centana Growth Partners led the round and was joined by investors including M12, Altos Ventures, Silverton Partners, and March Capital Partners.
- Movable Ink, a New York-based brand personalization company, raised $30 million in Series C funding from Contour Venture Partners, Intel Capital and Silver Lake.
- Cobalt, a San Francisco-based cybersecurity platform, raised $29 million in Series B funding. Investors included Highland Europe, Nexthink, Adjust, ContentSquare, and WeTransfer.
- Chili Piper, a four-year-old, San Francisco-based startup whose software automates the scheduling and email that cause friction in the sales process, has raised $18 million in Series A funding led by Base10 Partners, with participation from Gradient Ventures. More here.
- Pachyderm, an open-source platform for data science, raised $16 million in Series B funding. M12 led the round and was joined by investors including Jon Sakoda of Decibel Ventures, Benchmark, and YCombinator.
- Stream, a Boulder-based maker of enterprise-grade activity feed and chat APIs, raised $15 million in Series A funding. GGV Capital led the round and was joined by investors including 01 Advisors, Knight, and Arthur Ventures.
- Odeko, a New York-based supply and demand platform for coffee shops, merged withCloosiv and raised $12 million in Series A funding. GGV Capital led the round and was joined by investors including First Round, Primary Venture Partners, Box Group, Addition Ventures, Two Sigma Ventures, Bar 9, Balius, i2bf, and Y Combinator.
- PadSplit, an Atlanta-based affordable housing marketplace, raised $10 million in Series A funding. Core Innovation Capital led the round and was joined by Alate Partners, Citi, Kapor Capital, Impact Engine, and Cox Enterprises.
- Cyware, a New York-based cybersecurity startup, raised $10 million in Series A funding. Prelude Fund and Tanium led the round and was joined by investors including Emerald Development Managers and Great Road Holdings.

- American Express (NYSE: AXP) agreed to acquire Kabbage, an Atlanta, Ga.-based financial technology company providing loans to small businesses. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
- Diageo will acquire Aviation Gin, the spirits maker from Ryan Reynolds, for up to $610 million over a 10-year period. Read more.

- Duck Creek Technologies, a Boston-based provider of software for insurers, raised $405 million in an offering of 15 million shares priced at $27.
Funds:
- Initialized Capital raised $230 million for its fifth core seed fund. Read more.
- Patient Square Capital, a health care investment firm, launched today founded by Jim Momtazee. Momtazee was previously at KKR.
- Lightspeed Venture Partners closed its third India-focused fund with $275 million in commitments.
